Penalty Shoot-Out

The football season is now almost half-way through and we are pleased to note that all the age groups at our nursery have settled in nicely & training programmes set out are duly being followed. This encourages all of us to enthusiastically persist in our effort to make our nursery one of the best.

As you all know we have strived to maintain the nursery fee the same as last year's, in spite of the fact that due to the engagement of several new coaches, expenses have increased drastically. Our fee is one of the lowest charged, suffice it to say that other nurseries charge between €120 and €150. In this regard we have decided to organise some fund-raising activities to enhance the smooth running of our organisation, the first of which will be a PENALTY SHOOT-OUT. Each child will be handed a sponsorship form on which he would be able to collect funds from relatives, friends and other sponsors. Various football related prizes will be handed out to all the boys in accordance with the amounts collected. Trophies will also be handed out to the child who manages to collect most in his group and to the one who manages to collect most overall. Every participating boy in the shoot-out will take 20 penalty shots with the winner being the one who manages to score most in his respective group.

This activity will take place on Wednesday 10th of February 2010 at our training pitch in Naxxar. A Parents' Penalty Shoot-Out will also be organised in the afternoon. Those of you wishing to participate can do so for a minimal sponsorship amount of €5. A trophy will be awarded to the winning participant.
